This Lovely Old Farmhouse Meat Safe is made from Solid Pine with a pine plank back,  Its in very good condition. On the side panels are 2 small holes designed to allow the cupboard to breath.( see Photo).2 Black catches on doors and original hinges. This meat safe has one shelve inside and no floor the idea of this is that it is designed to be kept on a stone floor to allow the contents to stay cool! The zinc mesh has been replaced with new then beautifully waxed with our finest fiddes stripped pine wax to give it this smooth finish. Very nice piece.
